Check the springs, mat and frame for rust, and the safety net for tears.
Ask how long the trampoline has been outside, since weather degrades mats.
Ask if it will be dismantled before collection and check that all parts and fixings are there.

How long does a trampoline last?

A good one lasts about 5 to 10 years, but the mat and net can need replacing sooner.

Are second hand trampolines safe?

Yes if the frame, springs and net are sound. Always use a safety net and supervise children.
